Ten ways to love people (True and biblical)


Listen without interrupting.
He who answers before listening—
that is his folly and his shame. (Proverbs 18:13)

Speak without accusing.
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry... (James 1:19)

Give without sparing.
All day long he craves for more,
but the righteous give without sparing. (Proverbs 21:26)

Pray without ceasing.
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. (Colossians 1:9)

Answer without arguing.
Better a dry crust with peace and quiet
than a house full of feasting, with strife. (Proverbs 17:1)

Share without pretending.
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. (Ephesians 4:15)

Enjoy without complaint.
Do everything without complaining or arguing... (Philippians 2:14)

Trust without wavering.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13:7)

Forgive without punishing.
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:13)

Promise without forgetting.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
